Description
purefil PA12-CF15 Filament – Carbon Fiber Reinforced for High-Performance 3D Printing
purefil PA12-CF15 is an advanced carbon fiber-reinforced polyamide 12 (PA12) filament, engineered for high stiffness, low moisture absorption, and excellent wear resistance. The 15% carbon fiber content significantly enhances rigidity and dimensional stability, making it an ideal choice for industrial applications requiring strength and precision.
As PA12 naturally has one of the lowest moisture absorption rates among polyamides, this filament performs exceptionally well in humid environments while maintaining high impact resistance and excellent sliding properties. Additionally, PA12-CF15 is antistatic, making it suitable for electronic housings and components.
The carbon fiber reinforcement not only improves thermal stability but also makes PA12-CF15 easier to print than standard PA12. However, due to the abrasive nature of carbon fiber, using a hardened steel nozzle is recommended to minimize wear on your 3D printer.
