Description
bioTEC-R Recycled Filament by purefil – Sustainable & High-Performance 3D Printing Material
The bioTEC-R filament is a fully recycled, high-performance 3D printing material designed for sustainability without compromising on quality. It offers the same superior thermal and mechanical properties as the original bioTEC filament, with a heat resistance of up to 110°C after heat treatment at 80°C for 2 hours. Despite its durability, bioTEC-R is easy to print, does not require a heated bed, and emits minimal odors during printing.
100% Recycled & Environmentally Friendly
The bioTEC-R filament is made entirely from 100% recycled materials, making it an excellent choice for eco-conscious makers. In addition, the filament is wound onto reused spools, meaning that previously used spools are refilled with new material. Due to this process, the spool design may vary from the product image.
As with the original bioTEC filament, bioTEC-R is produced from renewable raw materials such as sugar beet and sugarcane. It is classified as a 100% biofilament under ISO EN 16785-1 (Certificate No. DIC-00001) and meets the EN-13432 standard for compostability. The raw material has also been certified by Vinçotte (OK Compost S478) and European Bioplastics (7W2030) for compostability up to 1.0 mm thickness. Additionally, it complies with European Regulation No. 10/2011, ensuring food contact safety.
